Uniforms used in the Air Force
Below are the air force's uniforms compared to the other ranks
Battle Dress Uniform (BDU's)
This is the newest type of light green camouflage. The light green color is specific to the Air Force, this is how you distinct between branches. The Army has a darker, spread apart camouflage. The Navy have a dark blue camouflage. The National Guard has the same light color uniform as shown below, but the pattern is spread apart more. Here are some examples of different branch BDU's.

Service Dress Uniform (Blues)
The Service dress uniform is a three button blue coat with medals and the rank of a person. The Service Dress can be commonly confused with Mess Dress because the outfits are identical with different layouts of the rank and medals. Blues are usually worn on Mondays or at special events. Mess Dress is to be worn at functions such as the Air Force Ball or a promotion ceremony, any function with a high priority.

Mess Dress
Mess Dress uniforms differ between branches. The Air Force has the simplest and cheapest uniform. The Army has the most expensive uniform between the branches. The Army uniform is lined with gold and each medal costs over $300 for one. FLight Suit (pickle suits)
Flight Suits are used on the flight deck by crew members. It is commonly known as a Pickle Suit because of the green color. The usual Air Force uniform has the green camouflage color, breaking up the colors. This suit is straight green and is a jumper with no other colors in it. The picture below shows how these suits really look like pickles.
